Chief's Message.

Welcome to the Thompson Hill Fire Dept Website.  We would like to remind everyone to please be sure that you have your house numbers visible from the road.   In an emergency, the firefighters and first responders need to be able to find you as quickly as possible.   If you have an emergency, when you call 911, clearly state your name and address (be as specific as possible) and the nature of the emergency.

If your house is on fire, get out of the house and call from your cell phone or your neighbors house.   If you have a medical emergency, if possible, have someone outside to flag down the responding personnel.

Exciting things will be happening this year.

We plan to have an addition built onto the fire station. Just like us people, fire trucks are getting larger so we need to plan for the future. This will give us an extra truck bay with larger doors than we have now.

We started a fund raising drive to replace our 1985 fire truck as it has reached the end of it's safe and useful life. If you are a resident or property owner in the Thompson Hill fire district you should have received a letter from us. If you live outside of our district and would like to give us a donation it would be greatly appreciated (see our donations page). The truck we plan to purchase is a modern equivalent of our 1985 fire truck without any extra added "frills".

The Auxiliary, although inactive at this time, is looking for people (both men and women) to restart and re-energize the organization.

For all emergencies dial 911.
