Welcome to the Thompson Hill Fire Dept Website. We would like to remind everyone to please be sure that you have your house numbers visible from the road. In an emergency, the firefighters and first responders need to be able to find you as quickly as possible. If you have an emergency, when you call 911, clearly state your name and address (be as specific as possible) and the nature of the emergency.
If your house is on fire, get out of the house and call from your cell phone or your neighbors house. If you have a medical emergency, if possible, have someone outside to flag down the responding personnel.
Exciting things happened this year.
The addition to the fire station is now complete. We would like to thank Coman And Tellier the contractors for all their excellent work. And we would also like to thank O’leary Construction for all their hard work demolishing the old addition, digging the foundation and site work.
Coman and Tellier are doing a renovation of our meeting room. We are having them build a new office and storage spaces in the section of the station that was originally built in 1910. They will be insulating the walls to cut heating costs and filling the old cellar for safety.
We would also like to thank everyone whom donated money, without your support none of this would be possible.
Our new fire truck is now here.
For all emergencies dial 911.
