Left: The first apparatus used from 1832 to the 1930's (over 100 years) was a Cooper rotary engine of the 1827 vintage. Center: A chemical fire extinguisher of the type provided by the Village Improvement Society and used from 1915 to 1937. Right: 1938 Maxim, The first motorized fire truck owned by the Company.
